Soma means “body” in Greek. And it is precisely the body and its imperfect perfection that this vase series is shaped by. Not as a fixed template, but as a fluid state. As something that moves and transforms. This is reflected in the contrast between inside and outside, between collar and body, which meet beautifully and elegantly in their glossy surfaces and, in an almost magical, flowing and floating state, wrap around one another.
