Rooted in Scandinavian design traditions, UMAGE brings together timeless aesthetics, quality craftsmanship, and thoughtful functionality at a price point that makes beautiful design accessible. Since our founding in 2008 by CEO Jacob Nannestad and Chief Creative Developer Søren Ravn Christensen, UMAGE has grown into a global design brand present in more than 50 countries. Yet our mission remains the same. We create refined, versatile designs that elevate everyday living while respecting the world around us.

Designed to Adapt With You
Life changes. Your furniture should change with it. UMAGE designs are created with flexibility and longevity in mind. We believe in products that evolve as your needs and tastes change. You can swap the upholstery on a lounge chair. You can refresh the color of your dining chairs. You can transform a lampshade from a pendant into a floor or table lamp using different extensions.
By designing interchangeable and replaceable components, we extend the life of each piece and reduce unnecessary waste. If a part wears out, you can replace it rather than replacing the entire product. When a piece finally reaches the end of its lifecycle, it can be disassembled into recyclable materials, supporting a more circular way of living.
We also integrate multifunctionality into many of our designs. A side table can include built in storage. A lamp can incorporate USB or wireless charging. By combining multiple functions in one thoughtfully designed piece, we reduce the number of products needed to create a complete and functional space. Adaptable design is not only practical. It is a more sustainable mindset.

We create timeless pieces with replaceable and recyclable components to extend their lifespan and reduce waste. Most UMAGE designs are delivered flat packed to reduce transportation impact, and we prioritize eco friendly materials and responsible sourcing, including Responsible Down Standard certified feathers for our Eos collection.
