About the designer

SIGNE WENNEBERG

Signe Wenneberg is a Danish designer, author, speaker, and journalist who works as a professional board member and advisor on sustainability. She has been a climate activist since 1987, and her thorough focus on targeting climate change and a sustainable lifestyle makes her one of Denmark’s leading advocates for a circular consumption pattern, using materials that are already here and only producing new things that can be reused at the end of the product’s life.

Signe Wenneberg

Signe Wenneberg is a graduate from the University of Copenhagen, the author of several gardening books, and spent three years on Denmark's Ethics Council. She has been chairman of the Danish Ecolabelling Board, resource ambassador for the Danish Environmental Protection Agency, chaired hearings on Danish food for the Danish Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries and an ambassador for FSC Denmark.

In her work as a passionate environmental advocate and a strong advocate for recycling and sustainability, she has collaborated with Rosendahl to create Reduce, which consists of a series of flower pots and bird feeding stations. Both series are completely in line with Signe Wenneberg’s sustainable design principles made from recycled plastic, and support Rosendahl’s goal of reducing the footprint our designs put on the planet.
