The rocking horse is a timeless icon from the children's room. It gives smaller children the freedom to sit – without necessarily sitting still – and no other piece of furniture seems to gather so many stories and adventures. Therefore, it felt only natural to add a rocking horse to Børge Mogensen's fine series of children's furniture. FDB Møbler reached out to designer Sarah Moutouh, who, besides being a skilled designer, is also a granddaughter of Børge Mogensen. With inspiration from the knight chess piece, Sarah Moutouh elegantly captured the simple and iconic expression of the horse and created the P12. The horse's reins are made of grain leather, which will gain a beautiful patina over time.
