Today, the majority of Kay Bojesen’s wooden figures are made from FSC certified wood. Our goal is to phase out non-certified wood, so that in the future we will only offer wood products with FSC certification to our customers.
FSC® CERTIFICATION
In an FSC forest, no more trees are cut down than the forest can manage to reproduce. At the same time, FSC is a guarantee that animals and plant life are protected and that the people who work in the forest are trained and receive proper safety equipment and wages.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT THE WOOD IS FSC® CERTIFIED?
Rosendahl.com is FSC-certified and a member of FSC Denmark. FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®) is an international non-profit labelling scheme for wood and paper.
The FSC label is applied to products made of wood and paper, which you can buy with a clear conscience. In an FSC forest, no more trees are cut down than the forest can manage to reproduce. At the same time, FSC is a guarantee that animals and plant life are protected and that the people who work in the forest are provided with training, safety equipment and decent wages.
Responsible forestry and operation is an important agenda, which is why we want to be involved in the dialogue regarding responsible wood products. As members of FSC Denmark, we ensure professional sparring and knowledge sharing between member companies.
