Designed with versatility in mind, the Øst Bar and Counter chairs are suited for both small private apartments and larger restaurants. The design promotes togetherness, as it is easy to turn both left and right, giving you the chance to join the conversations around you. The footrests are positioned at different heights and support multiple seating positions, while the rear high-placed footrest also serves as a practical storage space for coats and scarves. With Øst, Stine Weigelt wanted to create an elegant and functional design that build on the distinctive features of the furniture series, Søs and Anker. All three series share characteristic features such as tapered legs, clean lines, and the subtle circular detail where the legs meet the seat. The Øst stools are a natural part of Stine Weigelt's design universe, characterized by functional and useful furniture created with consideration for the people who use them in everyday life.
