Jørgen Bækmark's designs are characterized by a beautiful, calm design language and solid craftsmanship. There is a special harmony in all his furniture, including the D33, which he designed in 1959 while he was head of design at FDB Furniture. D33 is a great example of how timeless design can be. The design is extremely well-proportioned and just as beautiful and relevant today as back then. In all its functionalist simplicity, the table is full of details.
