PHILIP BRO LUDVIGSEN
Philip Bro Ludvigsen graduated as an industrial designer at the School of Decorative Art in 1989 and has taught at the Danish Design School and the National Institute of Design in India. Since 1998, he has had his own studio under the name Philip Bro Design and has worked for, among others, Georg Jensen, Royal Copenhagen, IKEA, LE KLINT and Lyngby Porcelæn. Philip Bro Ludvigsen’s designs and projects span a wide range – from product designs of vases through lighting to major interior design projects.
Philip Bro Ludvigsen is behind the Tura range of vases, which with its elegant sizes and shapes, and with plenty of edge and attitude, has quickly become a new classic at Lyngby Porcelæn, which is guaranteed to create a modern and expressive style in your interior design across the generations.
With Lyngby Tura, Philip Bro Ludvigsen has managed to design a modern collection that honours its past through a combination of classic shapes, architectural influences and techniques of craftsmanship. The Tura vases have been produced with great respect for Lyngby Porcelæn’s classic flutes, but they are also a modern take on a beautiful vase that beautifully and functionally manifests the full, complete lines as the epitome of the stylish choice in design-conscious homes, decade after decade.
