The iconic Cocoon vase, designed by Peter Svarrer, celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2023 - and the celebration of passionate glass craftsmanship continues, with this exclusive 2024 version from Holmegaard Archives.

Due to the complexity of the unique twisted pattern on the vase, three people are required to collaborate simultaneously on each individual piece: one person blowing the glass, as another prepares the exceptionally beautiful colors, while a third finally applies the stripes to the vase.

This vase stands 17.7” tall, and is embellished with stunning, lake-like hues - as each vase is hand-crafted, slight variations in the pattern are unavoidable. The color palette blends opal, soft rose, and sand, in a dynamic, rhythmic pattern reminiscent of reflections in water.

The Holmegaard Archives Cocoon Vase is an exquisite example of glassblowers' craftsmanship, Peter Svarrer's excellent design talent, and the creative play with colors and reflections that are a big part of Holmegaard's DNA.
