WE'RE HIRING!

TWO MARKETING & E-COMMERCE INTERNS

We are looking for two Marketing & E-commerce Interns to join our New York Office

Are you passionate about marketing, communications, and graphic design? Do you want to spend six months in New York City helping us promote Danish design and put Rosendahl Design Group's eight brands on the map in North America? Now is your chance, as we are looking for two interns to join us for a 6-month internship from January to June 2025.

The Role

As our Marketing & E-commerce Intern, you will be an integral part of promoting our Danish design products through our digital platforms, which include social media, newsletters, our website, and other marketplaces. You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with the rest of the team.

Your tasks includes:

  • Creating content for our social channels (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn), which involves copywriting, graphic design, and creating short videos.
  • Crafting newsletters and setting up automated email flows.
  • Ad hoc website editing tasks like updating product descriptions, adding new products, and refreshing pack shots and lifestyle images.
  • Proposing suggestions to enhance the quality of our online content.
  • Developing print materials such as print ads, catalogs, etc.
  • Gaining hands-on experience with essential tools such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Later, Shopify, and FlipSnack, assisting in content management and system operations.
  • Assisting in monitoring performance and product availability on platforms like FLIP, Faire, Amazon, and TikTok Store. Working with agencies to ensure our listings are consistently updated and exploring new opportunities on additional platforms.
  • Keeping track of key metrics in the reporting of our marketing and e-commerce initiatives.
  • Identifying relevant influencers and aiding in the development of an influencer program.
  • Assisting with PR events and tradeshows.

Requirements and skills

  • You are a Danish resident enrolled in a Danish or international higher education institution, studying a relevant subject such as marketing, communications, multimedia design, or digital design.
  • You are fluent in English, both orally and in writing, as this is the primary working language.
  • You are proficient in MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • You are familiar with working in photo editing programs, preferably Canva, Photoshop, and InDesign. Video editing experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • You have a basic understanding of B2C and B2B market aspects.
  • You demonstrate independent drive and maintain a positive attitude when approaching new tasks.
  • You are curious and creative, possess strong interpersonal skills, and can keep a clear perspective in busy situations.

What we offer

We offer an exciting opportunity to be part of establishing Rosendahl Design Group’s brands as leading Danish design brands in the North American market. The normal working week is 37 hours with hybrid work (two days remote and three days in the office), though overtime may be expected during specific periods.

Our work environment is positive, dynamic, and mission-driven, with highly qualified colleagues in an international atmosphere. You will have an excellent opportunity to influence the development and nature of the intern positions, multiple projects that you will be responsible for and drive independently, and furthermore gain valuable insight into what it's like working in one of the most dynamic and fast-paced cities in the world.

Practicalities

Interns are required to cover their own expenses, such as plane tickets and housing. However, as part of the internship, we offer a monthly stipend of 600 USD toward documented expenses. Previous interns have succeeded in seeking grants for partial coverage of their expenses. The visa is supported by The American-Scandinavian Foundation, which ensures all legal documents are completed.
